LAURIE DONAHUE
- President -
Elected to the District 204 School Board in 2017, and 2021, Laurie Donahue is a retired senior director in the telecom industry with more than 35 years of experience. Her background includes leading large, diverse, global business and technical teams working for the various forms of Bell Labs/AT&T/Lucent/Alcatel/Nokia. Her responsibilities included managing a $1B procurement program and a $250M product investment portfolio.
Laurie has been an active volunteer and leader in a variety of community organizations, including the Alive Center, Animal Assisted Therapy at Edward Hospital, League of Women Voters, and Indian Prairie Educational Foundation (IPEF), Naperville’s Sister City Commission. Additionally, she is a substitute teacher in District 204.
Laurie holds a Bachelor's in Computer Engineering from the University of Michigan and an MBA from Benedictine University.
She has lived in Naperville for over 40 years where she resides with her husband. She has two adult children who attended District 204 schools from kindergarten through graduating from Neuqua Valley High School.
Allison Fosdick is an adjunct assistant professor of English at North Central College who has lived in Naperville for more than 30 years. As an active advocate in the community, Fosdick has served in leadership roles with many organizations, including PTA president of Spring Brook Elementary School. Her additional civic roles have included vice president, Orchestra Parents Association at Neuqua Valley High School; director/vice president, Silver Springs Estates Homeowners Association; active member, Magical Starlight Theatre (a program of the Naperville Park District); board member, Breckenridge Breakers Swim Team; Art Awareness volunteer, Spring Brook Elementary School; and board member, Centennial Beach Mudrats Swim Team.
Fosdick has four children, two of whom are current 204 students as well as two district graduates.
She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Miami University and her Master of Arts degree from Northern Illinois University.

SUSAN TAYLOR-DEMMING

Susan Taylor-Demming has been an active part of the District 204 community since her children entered IPSD in 2001. She became an engaged member of the PTA and has held officer and/or committee chair positions at Fry Elementary, Scullen and Still Middle Schools and Waubonsie Valley High School. She and her husband, Albert helped establish WVHS PAGES parent group. Susan was also a charter member of the district’s Project Arrow PTA and co-authored the establishing By-Laws. She served on the districts’ Citizens Communications Advisory Committee, ensuring communication was transparent, constant and immediate, especially during the referendum surrounding the building of Metea Valley High School. She has continued to work on initiatives to enhance struggling students' academic success.
Professionally, Taylor-Demming is the Executive Director for Elgin Community College’s Foundation, working with corporations and individuals to enhance ECC’s endowment and investment opportunities geared towards providing student scholarships. Formerly a corporate marketing executive at Viacom, she negotiated multi-million dollar contracts for core product distribution.
Susan holds a Bachelor’s degree from Rice University, an MBA in Marketing/Management from Columbia University and is a doctoral candidate. She is married and has 2 daughters.
SUPNA JAIN

Supna Jain has been a proud District 204 resident since 2010. Professionally, she serves as a Principal Lecturer in Communication, Coordinator of First-Year Speaking, and Director of the Speaking Center at North Central College, where she teaches courses in public speaking, interpersonal, intercultural, and group communication. Before joining North Central College, she taught Communication at Illinois State University and the College of DuPage. She also spent several years as a Production Director for the Chicago-based litigation consulting firm, NextPoint.
In her free time, Supna enjoys teaching Indian dance at the Naperville Park District and is the Founder and Artistic Director of Aavegh, a nonprofit dance troupe. As a dedicated mother of two District 204 students, she finds joy in supporting her children's education and activities. Supna has volunteered and participated in organizations such as PTAs, the Parent Diversity Advisory Council, Band Parent Association, Naperville Neighbors United, and the City of Naperville’s community initiatives, including the “Embrace Naperville” series.
Supna holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Communication from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, a Master of Science in Communication from Illinois State University, and a Juris Doctor from DePaul University.
